Nay Aug Park Pavilion Rental Statement of Agreement

Rental is for pavilion use only In season rentals

In season rentals:
May 15th thru September 10th 9:00am - 8:00pm.
All guests must exit the park prior to 8:00pm.

Off season rentals:
Sept 11th thru October 31st. 9:00am - 7:00pm
All guests must exit the park prior to 7:00pm

• Any fees for an event are strictly forbidden
• DO NOT put tape, tacks, staples, etc. on the walls, columns floors or ceiling.
• ALCOHOL BEVERAGES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE PARK individuals with alcohol are subject to a fine, immediate eviction and loss of all fees.
• Use of grills is permitted., but they may not be placed on picnic tables or under the pavilion roof. Grills must never be left unattended. All fires must be wet down and extinguished prior to leaving.
• There are portable restrooms throughout the park for your use, you are responsible for ordering and paying for additional restrooms.
• No live entertainment is permitted with prior approval.
• Music must not interfere with other guest in the park. You will be asked once to lower it, the second time to turn it off. The third time you will have to exit the park.
• Bounce Houses are not permitted without prior approval.
• No parking on grass areas at anytime.
• NO CONFETTI ALLOWED
• All trash is to be bagged and placed near trash cans.
• All decorations are to be removed.
• Pavilion and tables are to be cleaned prior to leaving.
• Grounds surrounding the pavilion are to be cleaned prior to leaving.
• No tables are to be removed from pavilion without prior approval.
• Pavilion will have 10 tables.
• Additional tables will be provided for an additional charge of $10.00 per table.
• No fireworks of any kind are allowed in Nay Aug Park.
• You are responsible for any and all damages to the pavilion and area surrounding. You will be charged for repair and cleanup. Failure to pay will result in charges being filed.

You, the renter, are responsible for your guest adherence to all of the above rules. Failure by you or your guest to follow these rules will cause forfeiture of all fees and removal from the park.
The City of Scranton, Recreation Authority and the Police reserves the right to enter the pavilion at anytime during the event. The City reserves the right to end the event immediately with no refund to renter.
The applicant agrees to indemnify and save harmless the City of Scranton and the Scranton Municipal Recreation Authority against all costs, actions, claims and demands, whatsoever, that may result from activities of the rental/event.
